Ma anche il MUSEO DEL MARE, omaggerà le piante.
Domenica 8 marzo, in occasione dell’apertura gratuita per i residenti, capitan Walter Macovaz condurrà una visita guidata, su: “Josef Ressel, l’uomo dei boschi che inventò l’elica. Dalla scienza forestale alla tecnologia navale”. Molti sanno che la prima nave a elica della storia fece le sue prove, nel 1929, proprio nel Golfo di Trieste, e che a ideare la particolare
“vite di Archimede” adottata per l’esperimento fu il triestino d’adozione Josef Ressel. Pochi sono invece a conoscenza della sua principale attività che era quella del tecnico forestale, delle sue molteplici invenzioni e – purtroppo – anche delle sue sfortune.
L’appuntamento per l’interessante visita guidata di domenica è fissato alle ore 10.30, all’entrata del Civico Museo del Mare, via di Campo Marzio 5.

The MUSEUM OF THE SEA as well will pay homage to the plants. Sunday, March 8, on the occasion of the free access for residents, Captain Walter Macovaz will perform a guided tour of: “Josef Ressel, the man of the woods who invented the propeller. From forestry science to naval technology.”
Many know that the first ever made ship pushed by a propeller carried out its trials, in 1929, right in the Gulf of Trieste, and that the designer of the special “Archimedes screw” adopted for the experiment was the Trieste citizen Josef Ressel. Few are aware, though, of its main activity, which was that of technical forestry, of his many inventions and – unfortunately – of his misfortunes. The interesting guided tour will be held on Sunday at 10.30 am. Meet at the entrance of the Civic Museum of the Sea, via Campo Marzio 5.

MESTNI BOTANIČNI VRT V TRSTU, ul. Carlo de Marchesetti 2, prvič v letu bo botanični vrt odprt ravno na Dan Žena. Cvetlica zate! Peljimo ženske med cvetje. Posebni dogodek, na katerem nas bodo čuti vodili skozi spoznavanje rastlinskega sveta. Z zanimivimi in enostavnimi igramo bodo mali in veliki odkrivali dele cvetov, na koncu obiska Botaničnega vrta pa bomo skupaj izdelali zanimivo ročno delo. Dejavnost je primerna za družine – Trajanje: 1 ura in 30 minut

Tudi V POMORSKEM MUZEJU bomo govorili o rastlinah. V nedeljo 8. marca, ko bo muzej brezplačno odprt za občane s stalnim prebivališčem v Trstu, bo kapetan Walter Macovaz vodil tematski obisk: “Josef Ressel, izvedenec za gozdove, ki je izumil ladijski vijak. Od gozdarskih ved do pomorske tehnologije”. Mnogi vedo, da so poskusi plovbe prve ladje z vijakom potekali leta 1929 v Tržaškem zalivu, poseben “Arhimedov vijak”, ki so ga uporabili pri eksperimentu, pa je izumil priseljeni Tržačan Josef Ressel. Le redki pa vedo, da je bil Ressel po poklicu gozdarski tehnik, ki se je podpisal pod številne izume, sreča pa mu je večkrat obrnila hrbet. Zanimiv voden obisk bo na sporedu v nedeljo ob 10.30 uri. Zbirališče je pri vhodu v Pomorski Muzej, ul. di Campo Marzio 5. Toplo vabljeni.
